No. Some familiarity with IT is helpful, but not required. The instructor will explain the concepts in real world terms, not (just) technical terms. In fact, many of our students are Project Managers who need to gain a "management level" understanding of IT without having a technical background.
We guarantee that all students will pass the exam - in fact, over 99% of our students pass on the first attempt. However, should you need to retake the exam, we will assist you in preparation and set up the retake at no additional cost. You can always attend the course again at no cost, although in most cases this isn't necessary.
ITIL® 2011 is the most current iteration of the ITIL core publications. The ITIL® books replaced ITIL® v3, originally published in 2007. For this reason, the two versions are sometimes referred to as "ITIL® v3:2007" and "ITIL® v3:2011", respectively. The ITIL® 2011 books did not introduce any NEW content, but instead improved on the existing content (more consistency across the library, better examples, additional process flows and diagrams). ITIL® 2011 is the only version of the ITIL® Foundations Exam that is currently available.
The ITIL® v2 certifications expired at the end of 2010, so you would need to take the ITIL 2011 Foundations exam.
No. ITIL® v3 certifications from both the 2007 and 2011 editions are functionally the same, and do not need to be updated.

The ITIL® Foundations Exam is 40 questions, multiple choice. It is a closed book exam, and a passing score is 26/40, or 65%. Candidates have one hour to complete the exam.

Step 1: Appear for the ITIL Foundation exam after completing the training

The Foundation exam is the entry level certification and offers you a general awareness of the key elements, concepts and terminology used in the ITIL service lifecycle, including the links between lifecycle stages, the processes used and their contribution to service management practices.
ITIL provides a robust framework for identifying, planning, delivering and supporting IT services that can be adapted and applied to all business and organizational environments. It helps manage business risk and service disruption failure, establish cost-effective systems, develop customer relationships and support business change
You must complete at least 85% of the course or attend one complete batch. You must also complete one simulation test with a minimum score of 60%.
There are no specified dates for conducting these exams. You can pick a date that fits in well with your schedule.
You will receive the results within 15 days from the day you take the exam.

The ITIL examination can be scheduled at your convenience. Once you are ready to take the exam, contact learn N lead and you will receive an exam voucher code. You will need to complete the examination within six months of issuance of the voucher code.
Your exam voucher fee is included in the price of this course. However, you must book your exam within six months from the date of course purchase.
Exam prices are dynamic and governed by the certification body. Normally price changes are announced during the end of the calendar year.
Exam vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance; however, it can be revised per the certification body.
